Alexander Douglas Swain was given his name and a blessing by his father, Steven, in the Salt Lake Valley 2nd Ward for the Deaf on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008.
Family members attending: Ken and Sylvia Swain (Steven's parents); Alan, Bonnie, Breanna and Ryan Zundel (Bonnie is Steven's sister); Al and Carol Lemon (Carol is Merilee's aunt); Scott, Angela, Katy and Savannah Allen (Scott is Merilee's brother); Julie, Claire and Stella Connors (Julie is Merilee's sister), and Mike Allen (Merilee's other brother).
In the circle: Steven, Grandpa Swain, Uncle Alan, Great-Uncle Al, Uncle Scott, Uncle Mike, Bishop Dennis Anderson.
The family was invited back to our house after Sacrament meeting for lunch.
