It's 3:00 p.m. and the bili bed has just been picked up by IHC Home Health Services. We're done with phototherapy!
Alex went to the doctor on Wednesday. She was very pleased with how he was looking. The lab test showed his bilirubin is going down, so we had him on the bilibed all the rest of Wednesday, all day Thursday and today until it was picked up. Luckily we didn't have to have him on the lights at night--he had a difficult time sleeping.
He looks so much better! We compared a picture of Steven as a newborn with the newborn picture the hospital took and we think Alex looks like Steven. What do you think?
