school's out

Last Thursday, June 6 was our last day of school. Christie finished 8th grade and will enter 9th grade. Jordan finished 6th grade and elementary school and will enter 7th grade and junior high. Alex was going to preschool for speech therapy purposes and it looks like he will go back for another year this fall. Although he will be 5, his birthday is past the cutoff date for kindergarten so he will have to wait an extra year.

Alex finished preschool a week before the other two did, and the preschool classes did a program for the parents.
All the children lined up for the program

Hand movements for one of their songs

Getting his tshirt and packet

With his teachers, Miss Aleigh and Mrs. Mirna

Jordan participated in the promotion program (they don't call it graduation for 6th and 9th grade). He was given three awards: perfect attendance, participation on the flag patrol, and a Hope of America citizenship award.

Sitting with his class

Receiving his promotion certificate

With his teacher, Mrs. Seiter.

I didn't get any last day pictures of Christie.

After Jordan's program, we all went to lunch at IHOP (Jordan's request)
